Gil Gonzales Joins Barberton Community Foundation
Barberton Community Foundation is pleased to announce Gil Gonzales has joined the Foundation as its new Director of Economic Development. Gonzales brings a strong background in economic development and a deep commitment to supporting small businesses to his role, where he will lead and support initiatives to grow Barberton’s economic base and strengthen the community by leveraging the Foundation’s resources.

Celebrating our Scholarship Award Recipients
Congratulations to our newest scholarship recipients! Each year, Barberton Community Foundation partners with Barberton City School District to make more than $400,000 in scholarship awards.
Bringing the History of Barberton to Life
Barberton’s third grade students learn about local history as a part of their social studies curriculum. Now, thanks to a grant from Barberton Community Foundation, local author Conrad Storad has been commissioned by the schools to write a book on local history and update the class and bring the history of Barberton to life.
