Barberton Band Boosters’ Henda Jones Memorial Scholarship Fund
Mrs. Henda Jones, a dedicated Band Booster for 19 years, thrived and lived for the senior citizens of Barberton and the band members of Barberton High School. She was an exceptional servant and leader for both groups. She enjoyed her work as the Senior Center Director and Band Booster President for many years. Her dream for a bingo game as a fine support mechanism for the band was realized in 1992. She was present when the Band Boosters purchased their first concession trailer, and continued to be very active in the community in numerous ways. She was always thinking of ideas to support the band. The Band Boosters honor her memory with this scholarship.

Barberton Elk Lodge 982 Memorial Scholarship Fund
The scholarship was created in 2005 when Barberton Elks Lodge 982, which served our community for 100 years, merged with Cuyahoga Falls-Akron Elks Lodge 1923. The Barberton Elks Lodge 982 Scholarship is given to four deserving Barberton students annually.

Barberton High School Alumni Association Scholarship Fund
This scholarship is available to two Barberton High School seniors who are selected based on academic achievement as well as the activities and service they performed during their high school careers.

Barberton PTA Council Muffet Family Scholarship Endowment Fund
This scholarship was originally established by the PTA Council and Muffet family in memory of Dennis Muffet. Today, scholarships are awarded in memory of all members of the Muffet family, including Dennis Muffet, Tom Muffet and Mary Muffet.
“Since 1979, it has been the goal of the Muffet family and the Barberton PTA Council to honor Barberton High School students who exemplify scholarship and exceptional character.”
