Robert (Bob) Winebrenner established this scholarship to honor the life of his son, Justin R. Winebrenner. Justin graduated from Barberton High School, Class of 2001, where he played soccer and basketball. He followed his father’s footsteps in pursuing a career in law enforcement, studying at The University of Akron, then working at the Medina County Juvenile Detention Center where he enjoyed working with youth in crisis.
This scholarship is for a BHS senior or resident of Barberton, who is pursuing a career in law enforcement, criminology, criminal justice, or criminal intelligence analysis.
