About the Game Changer Award
Barberton Community Foundation’s Game Changer Award is one of the community’s most prestigious honors, recognizing individuals, businesses, and organizations whose leadership, service, and long-term commitment have made a lasting impact and continue to strengthen the Barberton community.
The award celebrates those who lead with integrity, demonstrate excellence, and create meaningful change through service, mentorship, innovation, philanthropy, and community investment. Recipients represent the very best of Barberton — people and organizations that not only achieve success, but actively help others grow, thrive, and reach their full potential.
Nominees should demonstrate a strong connection to Barberton through their leadership, service, volunteerism, business, or community involvement. Nominations should highlight specific examples of lasting impact, leadership, and contributions that have helped move the community forward.
New in 2026, The Blooming Impact Award will honor an individual aged 18-35 whose initiative, resolve, and momentum are already helping move Barberton forward. The award reflects Barberton Community Foundation’s commitment to elevating people whose influence and contributions are already helping shape the future of the community.
Nominations are open through June 30. Recipients will be recognized during Barberton Community Foundation’s Annual Dinner in November.
