Barberton Community Foundation Launches New Website to Better Connect Community, Strategy, and Impact

A refreshed digital experience helps Barberton better understand the Foundation’s role, strategic priorities, and opportunities to move our community forward together.
Barberton, Ohio — Barberton Community Foundation has launched its new website, advancing the organization’s continued evolution and long-term commitment to the Barberton community.
The new website makes it easier for residents, donors, nonprofit partners, students, families, community leaders, and business owners to access grants, scholarships, community resources, strategic priorities, and the stories behind the Foundation’s work.
Since stepping into the executive director role in January 2024, Josh Gordon has helped guide the Foundation through a period of strategic growth and renewed community focus. As the organization evolved, the Foundation partnered with Strategic 7 Marketing Agency to refresh its brand and digital presence, while transitioning to HubSpot to strengthen strategic communication with donors, fund representatives, partners, and the broader community.
Together, those investments better position the Foundation to communicate, engage, and build relationships for the future.
The Foundation’s previous website served the organization well for many years. As its work sharpened around four strategic priorities, early learning, career pathways, downtown revitalization, and basic needs, the Foundation needed a digital experience that better reflects its vision, its work, and the evolving ways people discover, engage with, and experience the organization online.“We’ve spent a great deal of time listening, learning, and asking where the Foundation can create the greatest long-term impact,” Gordon said. “Our strategic plan gave us a clearer sense of who we are, what our role is and is not, where we’re going, and how we can best show up for the community. Our website needed to reflect that."

“This is more than a website refresh,” Gordon said. “It reflects how we are thinking about our role. We are more than funding. We are helping align people, partnerships, and resources around the future of our community.”
The new site also highlights the Foundation’s Get. Grow. Give. approach and its role as both a steward of charitable resources and a strategic partner helping Barberton thrive across generations.
