Game Changer Awards
The Game Changer Awards are among Barberton's highest community honors. These awards recognize individuals, businesses and organizations whose extraordinary contributions have created meaningful and lasting change.
Game Changers do more than succeed in their professional or volunteer roles. They go above and beyond what is expected, lifting others, strengthening the community, creating opportunities and making a lasting difference in Barberton.
Blooming Impact Award
The Blooming Impact Award recognizes an emerging leader, age 35 or younger, who demonstrates initiative, resolve and momentum in making a difference in Barberton.
This award celebrates someone who takes action, perseveres through challenges and builds momentum toward positive change, demonstrating the leadership and potential to help shape Barberton's future.

Nominations are accepted annually through May 31.
Don't assume someone deserving has already been nominated! Multiple nominations and letters of support are strongly encouraged. Each nomination offers an opportunity to share additional perspectives, accomplishments and examples of community impact.
Strong nominations include specific examples, measurable results and firsthand accounts of how the nominee has made a difference.
How Are Recipients Selected?
The Foundation's independent Community Engagement Committee evaluates nominations using an established scoring rubric. Foundation staff do not vote.
An Award Recipient and up to two Honorees may be selected in each category, with selections completed no later than July 30 each year. Honoree recognition is reserved for nominees whose exceptional contributions rise to the highest level of consideration.
Award Recipients are celebrated at the Foundation's Annual Dinner with an award, commendations, a featured video and an opportunity to speak. Honorees receive honorable mention at the event and remain eligible for future nominations.
